Safiyah Bandele has an extensive academic career that includes serving as the founder-director of the Center for Women Development at the historic Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, New York. She is the recipient of the Malcolm X award and other awards for her years of service to the community. Ms. Bandele continues to focus her attention on issues around incarceration, particularly the aged incarcerated.

Marilyn Worrell has traveled the world as a dance performer teacher. Currently, she wears two hats for Ife Tayo Cultural Arts, a White House awarded arts program, in Brooklyn, New York. Ms. Worrell is an instructor where she shares her extensive art background and is the organization's community liaison.

Dr. Donna Akilah Wright is a champion for educational excellence through the City University of New York and throughout the diaspora.  Dr. Akilah Wright is also a great supporter of OMEC, the early childhood education office of the United Nations. She is currently writing and advocating for culture-based education.
